Writer Zhang Jianhong (张建红), whose pen name is Li Hong (力虹), was sentenced to six years in prison by a local court in Zhejiang on "inciting subversion" charges. He said he would appeal. The charge was based on the 63 articles he published on overseas websites that were found to defame China's state power and social system. Zhang's lawyer said those articles included views which supported human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng.
