On May 28, Guo Feixiong told his lawyer that he had been tortured while being detained in Shenyang on February 12. He was beaten by a high-voltage electrical rod on his hands, face and reproductive organ. He was also slapped in the face many times. He committed suicide on February 13 but did not succeed.
