Huang Qi (黄琦)'s lawyers Mo Shaoping (莫少平) and Ding Xikui (丁锡奎) were finally permitted to see him on September 23 after being denied access to Huang since he was detained. Huang has been in detention since June 10 and was formally arrested on July 18 on grounds of "illegally possessing state secrets." According to Mo, he and Ding were denied access to prosecution documents.
