Mongolian farmers clash with police

Two thousands Mongolian farmers who had refused to turn over their farmland and blocked the construction of the highway for two months, clashed with hundreds police in the village of Qianjin last week, with 31 people arrested and 131 detained. Local police refused to comment on the case.
