Beijing authorities have announced that they are resuming the indictment procedure for Zhao Yan, a news researcher for the New York Times, after unexpectedly dropping all charges against him last month. Zhao's lawyer stated that this most likely means that the same two charges of leaking state secrets and fraud will be filed against him.
