China shuts down anti-Japanese websites amid fears of more protests

Websites of several anti-Japan activist groups, including the China Federation of Defending Diaoyudao Islands Limited (中國民間保釣聯合會), have been shut down by the government to stop them from mobilizing people participate in anti-Japan protests. Discussion forums and websites posting messages on organizing protests on May 1 and May 4 in majors Chinese cities are also closed.
