北京禁出租地庫 遷走10萬「北漂族」(Beijing Prohibits Leasing of Basements; Tenants Must Leave before July)

According to recently issued police directive, all tenants leasing basements in Beijing must vacate their rooms before July 1. Failing to do so will result in a fine. The majority of people living in Beijing basements are of the "floating population," migrant workers without fixed residence or jobs. The directive could affect around 100,000 migrant workers.
