An activist has been attacked and ceremonial activities have been cancelled ahead of the one-year anniversary of a protest in Taishi Village, Guangdong Province. Activist Feng Caihong (冯彩虹) was wounded by a man whom she believed was employed by local authorities. She was one of the leaders involved in an attempt to impeach the corrupt village head a year ago.
