Peng Ming, the founder of the China Development Union who was charged with involvement in terrorist activities, kidnappings and possession of counterfeit banknotes, was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Wuhan, Hubei Province yesterday.
Peng disappeared while traveling to Myanmar and was formally arrested in August of last year.
