Chengdu-based rights activist Li Shuangde (李双德) was released Friday, July 22, from a four-month sentence on credit card fraud. Li was detained in late March and sentenced in June. Li says that imprisonment has not deterred his desire to defend rights, and that he does not fear monitoring from authorities.
